Description

A quick and comforting Easy Goulash Recipe that combines ground beef, pasta, and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for a family-friendly dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 lbs. ground beef, lean
  • 3 tsp garlic, minced
  • 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 15 oz cans petite diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 cups macaroni noodles, uncooked
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the ground beef and garlic, cooking until the beef is browned.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, and bay leaves. Stir to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add the uncooked macaroni noodles and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  7. Remove bay leaves and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your goulash!
