A delicious and easy-to-make Hamburger Mushroom Bake that combines ground beef, creamy mushrooms, and cheese for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 eggs
- 5 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter for sautéing mushrooms
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the sliced mushrooms until they are tender.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cream cheese, eggs, sautéed mushrooms, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- If desired, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a low-carb version, you can omit the cheese topping.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor.
