Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Hamburger Mushroom Bake that combines ground beef, creamy mushrooms, and cheese for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp butter for sautéing mushrooms
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheese (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the sliced mushrooms until they are tender.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cream cheese, eggs, sautéed mushrooms, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined and pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. If desired, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a low-carb version, you can omit the cheese topping.
