Description

A quick and easy recipe for a delicious honey garlic ground beef and broccoli stir-fry, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets and cook until tender.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and cornstarch mixture.
  6. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve hot, optionally garnished with red pepper flakes.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
