Description

A quick and easy recipe for delicious mushroom ramen noodles, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • Salt & Pepper, as per taste
  • 2 Block Ramen Noodles (discard the flavor packets)
  • 3 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1.5 Cup Button Mushroom, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 sprigs Green Onion, sliced


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, brown sugar, water, salt, and pepper to create the sauce.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, ginger, and garlic, and sauté until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pot and pour the sauce over the noodles. Toss to combine.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bok choy for extra nutrition.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for larger servings.
  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
